CARING HANDS CAN BE YOUR HANDS REACHING OUT TO HELP WHEN PEOPLE HURT
 
Caring Hands is an 13 yr old volunteer driven 501 c3 nonprofit.  That means your gift is tax deductible and goes to help people in need not to pay for staff salaries.  It also means we are one of the oldest and most experienced organizations of our type in this area. 
 
Become a Business Sponsor
The majority of Caring Hands Support comes from local area businesses who care about people in Northeast GA and want to help when there is a need.  FULL BASKET SPONSORS donate $100 once or twice a year.  HALF BASKET SPONSORS donate $50 once or twice a year,  QUARTER BASKET SPONSORS donate $25 1-3 times in a year.   Some businesses have chosen to become DOUBLE BASKET SPONSORS contributing $200 once or twice a year.  You can see a partial list of our business sponsors by clicking the Neighbors Helping Neighbors link above.   Most of our sponsors are locally owned small businesses.   Many are what you might call mom and pop operations.  Larger organizations may want to select a silver sponsorship for $250, Gold Sponsorship for $500 or Platinum Sponsorship for $1000

Caring Hearts Club members are individuals and families who care about people in need here in NE GA and want to help. They may not have the resources of a large business but they know that many people working together can make a difference.  There are 3 basic levels of Caring Hearts Club membership. Red $20 a month, $60 a quarter or $240 a year White $10 month, $30 a quarter $120 a year, Blue $5 a month, or $15 a quarter $60 a year. We also have sustaining members who help with $1000 in a year, supporting members who contribute at least $500 in a year. $5 may not sound like much but even at today's gas prices it can pay for gas to transport food enough to feed 6-10 families or can provide an elderly couple with enough food to help them for 3 days. $10 can help to feed 4 small families for a day or combine with 4 other $10 to help a family or senior citizen to keep lights on for another month, or help a single mom have gas money so she can start a job and support her children, $20 can keep a family’s water from being shut off or buy a month's supply of life saving blood pressure medicine or combine with 4 more $20 to help pay rent and keep a child from becoming homeless. We do not bill or invoice. We depend on the caring in your heart to remind you about helping. All donations are tax deductible.

PARTNER CHURCHES
Partner Churches  take up a monthy offering or send a monthly gift to help Caring Hands Ministries reach out to people in need with God's love.  Offerings may be in the form of money, food, or both.   Partner churches may make referrals to Caring Hands for help.  Members of Partner Churches and their families and people referred by Partner Churches will be our first priority if funds available do not permit us to meet all needs persented to us at any one time. 
 
Sustaining Churches take up an offering or send a gift of suport every quarter.  This may be money or food or both.  Sustaining Churches may also make referrals to Caring Hands. Members of  Sustaining Churches will receive priority when needs exceed funds avaiable.
 
Supporting Churches take up an offering or do a food drive for Caring Hands Ministries once or twice a year.  They also may make referrals to the ministry for help.  
 
The level of participation is determined by how often the church shares with Caring Hands not how much they give.  A small church that gives regularly and makes Caring Hands a part of their prayer concern is a great blessing to us and to the people we help.

Neighbors helping Neighbors has always been a tradition here in the Northeast GA.  Today many people just dont know their neighbors. They dont know whose grandmother needs medicine, whose little girl is hungry, whose house caught fire, who really needs a hand and who is telling them a story. Caring Hands Ministries provides a way that people with caring hearts can reach out to help and can be sure their help goes to people who have real needs, This is our 11th year of helping people here in the NE GA Mountains.  We verify the facts, talk to the power company, the landlord, to verify employment, make sure the need is real and find out how it happened, what can be done to help and try to be sure that it wont happen again. We become your hands reaching put to make a difference for your neighbors.
